Aegean Airlines

Aegean Airlines is a member of Star Alliance, Greece’s largest airline providing at its inception in 1999 until today, full service, premium quality short and medium haul services.

On 23rd October 2013 Agean Airlines acquired Olympic Air; as a result passengers now have increased flight frequencies and connections as well as improved accessibility to Greece’s islands, including some of the more remote.

As an outcome of its efforts, in 2017 it transferred 13,2 million passengers, 6% more passengers than in 2016. In 2017, was named "Best Regional Airline in Europe" at the Skytrax World Airline Awards in a survey conducted among over 19,9 million passengers. This award - which the Aegean Airlines has been honored with for the 7th successive year and 8th year in total since 2009 - is a further confirmation of the high quality of service it offers to its customers, who have shown their trust in the airline and made it their number one choice.

Aegean Airlines invests in strengthening its international presence and in supporting the Greek tourism both in Athens and in regional airports. In line with this, its 2018 timetable includes a network of 153 destinations, 122 international in 44 countries and 33 domestic, with 16,600,000 available seats. The flights will be performed with one of the youngest fleets in Europe, comprising 60 aircraft.
