Air Madagascar

Air Madagascar was formed in March 1947 by Transports Aériens Intercontinentaux.  The airline is based in Ivato International Airport, Antananarivo, Madagascar.  Air Madagascar covers a wide network of 50 destinations in 11 countries.  It currently operates international services to Paris, Marseilles, Bangkok and Guangzhou.  The direct Air Madagascar link connecting Antananarivo to Guangzhou-Baiyun Airport began operating in 2009.  it operates on A340-300-tri-class aircraft, three times per week via Bangkok.

Air Madagascar holds codeshare agreements with Thai Airways (on the Antananarivo-Bangkok, Antananarivo-Singapore and Antananarivo-Hong Kong (via Bangkok routes) plus Air Mauritius (to cover Mauritius).

Its fleet consists of 10 aircraft: 2 A340-300, 3 B737-300, 2 ATR 72-500, 1 ATR 42-500, 1 ATR 42-320, 3 De Havilland Twin Otter et 1 Pipper PA-350.
