Gideon Thaler

Position:President and CEO Gideon Thaler, the founder of TAL Aviation, started his career in the aviation industry at the age of 21 and has 44 years of experience covering all aspects of the industry.

Gideon began his career with TWA and before starting his independent GSA company he served as the General Manager of Canadian Airlines in Israel.

From a small GSA company employing a staff of 4, Gideon developed a diversified aviation and tourism enterprise that currently employs over 100 employees in 16 countries.

Nissim Sagis

Position:VP Commercial Nissim has been with TAL Aviation since it was established in 1987 and has held various positions in Passenger Sales. After serving as Sales Manager for Israel, Nissim was appointed Commercial Director for TAL Aviation and in this capacity is globally responsible for sales, marketing and various commercial aspects of the organization.

With the expansion of TAL Aviation representation offices in Europe, Nissim is involved in launching new airline and destination marketing representations, recruitment of managerial staff and the building of infrastructure with the vision for growth.

Ilan Bar Moshe

Position:VP Finance Ilan joined TAL Aviation in 2010 and has brought with him a wealth of experience As TAL Aviation's Finance Manager, Ilan is responsible for all the financial and legal aspects of TAL Aviation's various companies including labour issues

Frances Thaler

Position:Customer Relations & Administration Manager Frances is one of the founders of TAL Aviation and has handled Customer Relations for the Company for over 20 years. She also handles BSP Israel and general administrative issues.

Barbara Shorr

Position:Regional Manager Barbara has over 25 years of experience in airlines and tourism, most of them with TAL Aviation and including a two year hiatus to manage the Canadian Tourism Commission in Israel.

In her current capacity of Regional Manager, Barbara concentrates her efforts on developing marketing and sales in the international office network.

Guy Thaler

Position:IT & E-Commerce Manager Holding a BA in Communication & Management and a graduate in web management, Guy combines his knowledge and experience in the tourism and IT field by handling technological aspects and solutions in the company’s modern environment.

Aharon Ben Chaim

Position:Business Development Manager Aharon has held managerial positions in Swissair, Swiss, BMI plus other GSA organisations. During these years, he has gained a lot of experience and knowledge as well as many contacts in the aviation and tourism industry in Israel.

Aharon is handling the sales and marketing development for the Company.

Pedro Castro

Position:Business Development Manager Holding a law degree from the universities of Lisbon and Strasbourg Pedro's academic life was the beginning of his global citizen path and it has contributed to his language proficiency in Portuguese, English, French, German, Spanish and Italian. Pedro career includes several strategic positions: in the commercial department of the Portuguese private airline Portugalia, Swissair Group and Euroairport as Business Development Manager. Before joining TAL Aviation, Pedro worked as Relationship Manager Private Banking at the Credit Suisse Group in Zurich.
