Qantas adds more flights between Brisbane and Perth

Qantas added three new Boeing 737-800 services a week between Brisbane and Perth, bringing the total number of weekly services operated on the route to 27, providing more than 500 extra seats each week.
This extra capacity is a direct response to the spike in tourist demand being experienced by the cities of Perth and Brisbane.
The new schedule that Qantas has developed for services departing Brisbane appeals to a broad range of traveller with two morning departures, an early afternoon and early evening. Departures from Perth back to Brisbane mean that travellers now have a choice of flights at around five-to-seven hour intervals.
The improved schedule for those departing form Perth also appeals to the business traveller. For the first time we are offering a non-stop Perth-Brisbane service, timed for an early morning departure at 7.35 am, which we believe will be very popular. Alternatively, they can choose a flight that arrives in the early morning in Brisbane, at 6.20 am, allowing them to complete a full day's work.
