Air Tanzania Company Limited (ATCL) is the national airline of Tanzania, headquartered in Dar es Salaam and operating from its hub at the Julius Nyerere International Airport.
Known by its slogan "The Wings of Kilimanjaro," the carrier was established in 1977 following the dissolution of East African Airways and has been a member of the African Airlines Association since its founding.
Today, ATCL operates a young and modern fleet, including Boeing 787-8 Dreamliners, Boeing 737 MAX 9s, Airbus A220-300s, Dash 8-Q400s, and a Boeing 767-300F freighter.
As an IOSA-certified carrier and a member of IATA, the airline maintains high international safety and operational standards.
