Our airline partner Drukair – Royal Bhutan Airlines adds two new Airbus Jets to fleet

Our airline partner Drukair - Royal Bhutan Airlines, that we represent as General Sales Agent in Germany and France, - adds two new Airbus Jets to fleet.
Drukair – Royal Bhutan Airlines, the official airline of Bhutan, is fully owned by the government. The airline has signed an agreement with Airbus to buy three A320neo and two A321XLR planes to enhance its global route network. The new aircraft are expected to arrive in 2030.
Drukair plans to fly these planes from Paro International Airport and a new airport being built in Gelephu Mindfulness City, which is intended to be Bhutan's economic center. This will help Drukair connect better with Europe, Southeast Asia, and Australia. Right now, Drukair's fleet includes four Airbus A320 planes: three A319s and one A320.
Gelephu Mindfulness City, located in southern Bhutan, is being developed as a new economic center based on the vision of His Majesty Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck.
As the country’s official airline, Drukair plays an important role in supporting the growth of this area and meeting the rising need for transportation and logistics in Bhutan.
