The airline will fly four times a week to Barcelona, with connections from Gran Canaria and Tenerife. The new schedule includes two weekly flights between Gran Canaria and Asturias, and another two from Tenerife to the Andalusian city.

Binter will connect the Canary Islands with Barcelona, Jerez de la Frontera and Oviedo from next October, coinciding with the beginning of the winter season. From the airline they celebrate the opening of these new direct and regular routes with a launch offer that will allow them to purchase from Wednesday, August 12, tickets to fly with these destinations from 29.79 euros each way, buying roundtrip.

In this way, the Canary Islands airline continues to expand its presence in the national market, in which it began operating in 2018 and where it currently covers routes with seven destinations, such as Vigo, Mallorca, Pamplona, Zaragoza, Murcia, Vitoria and Santander. which are giving good results due to the comfort of direct flights and the quality of Binter's product, which is highly appreciated by passengers.

Despite the uncertainty generated by the COVID-19 crisis, which has caused the reduction or suppression of many connections, Binter continues to bet on expanding routes with the Peninsula to ensure better connectivity in the Canary Islands. In addition, for the cases in which you fly to or from an island other than Tenerife or Gran Canaria, the airline also offers for these new national routes the possibility of including the inter-island segment free of charge on connecting flights, so that flying from any point of the Archipelago, leave at a similar price.

The airline will link the Canary Islands with Barcelona four times a week, with direct connections to Gran Canaria and Tenerife. Specifically, Binter will operate flights from Gran Canaria on Tuesdays and Thursdays, leaving at 09:30 am and arriving at El Prat airport at 1:50 pm. The return from the Catalan capital will be at 2:50 p.m., landing in the archipelago at 5:10 p.m.

The airline has opted for Jerez de la Frontera and Oviedo for the tourist attraction that these two points located to the south and north of the Peninsula have for the Canary Islands, being ideal destinations for short breaks of a few days or family trips. Likewise, Binter estimates that the Archipelago has many incentives to attract numerous Asturian and Andalusian travelers.

Likewise, it has launched the route with Barcelona because it is a pole of great tourist attraction and interest, in addition, it is considered an opportunity to promote business relations in both regions and one more option for Canarian passengers to use the airport del Prat as a connection hub to other international destinations.
