Blue Air’s CEO, Gheorghe Racaru, is awarded Romania’s Best CEO
On Wednesday, June 6th, 2018, the best Romanian managers were recognised and awarded at the 4th annual "Excellence in Management" Gala Awards Ceremony, hosted by Capital Magazine in Bucharest. We are proud to announce that Mr. Gheorghe Răcaru was awarded Best CEO in Romania for his outstanding work.
Our joy is doubled with the nomination of Ms. Melania Jaravete, our Human Resources Director, for the "Best Human Resources Manager" category. It is an achievement for any company to have two nominations at the "Excellence in Management" Gala Awards, and this confirms our company's success.
With 48-years' experience in aviation, Mr. Gheorghe Racarulaunched the company with a team of only 35 employees, and over the last seven years, more than 21 million customers have chosen to travel with Blue Air.

Mr. Claudiu. Serban, the editorial director of Capital Magazine, who was also the evening’s master of ceremonies, said the award was given to Mr. Racaru "for saving the company. Moreover, thanks to its professional management, the company has become a market leader in Romania, also recognised by TripAdvisor, in a nomination awarded earlier this year. In just two years, the company has doubled its staff and network", said Șerban on Blue Air’s success under the management of Mr. Gheorghe Racaru.
