New route to Chetumal
As part of our strategy to take our customers to the best destinations, starting June 1st of this year we will launch our Mexico City - Chetumal route.
Chetumal is the sixth destination that we offer in the south-east of Mexico. The others being: Cancun, Merida, Campeche, Ciudad del Carmen, and Villahermosa.
The new route will operate on the following schedule:
Mexico City – Chetumal*
AM2650 08:40 h 10:45 h Monday to Saturday
AM2652 15:30 h 17:36 h Sunday
Chetumal – Mexico City*
AM2651 11:20 h 13:25 h - Monday to Saturday
AM2653 18:15 h 20:20 h - Sunday

Jose Zapata, Sales Director for Aeromexico and the Joint Cooperation Agreement (JCA) with Delta Air Lines. had this to say about the route “With this new route, we will be supporting the development strategy the government has implemented in the state and in its capital city, by boosting the flow of tourists traveling to Chetumal to enjoy the city’s vast wealth of culture and tourism,”
Through the process of offering more routes, we continue to strengthen our presence in the region, while also reaffirming our commitment to promoting tourism and cultural exchange between communities.
