For many years, through our partnership with Ethiopian Airlines, that we represent as General Sales Agent in many countries, we have had the honor of supporting the life-saving work of the Save a Child’s Heart (SACH) Foundation.

Save a Child’s Heart is an Israeli-based international humanitarian organization dedicated to providing critical cardiac care to children from developing nations, with a powerful and focused commitment to Africa.

Since 1995, their teams of dedicated medical professionals have mended the hearts of over 7,500 children from 72 different countries. Their mission is carried out without regard for race, religion, or nationality, reflecting a pure, unwavering dedication to human life.

The journey to healing for these children often begins thousands of miles away. As the airline that successfully connects Africa to the world, Ethiopian Airlines works closely with SACH to bring children in urgent need of cardiac surgery to Israel for treatment.

They are instrumental in coordinating the complex logistics of these medical journeys, ensuring that these young patients and their families can travel safely and efficiently. While their role may not always be highlighted in the spotlight, Ethiopian Airlines is an integral part of the heartbeat of SACH’s success.

This partnership was recently strengthened during a meaningful meeting between our teams. We were delighted to introduce Kassie Yimam, the new Ethiopian Airlines Country Manager for Israel, and to hear directly from the SACH team about their groundbreaking work and their deep commitment to saving children’s lives across the African continent.

Our discussions were both productive and forward-looking. We reviewed the special conditions approved by Ethiopian Airlines HQ for the coming year, ensuring this vital humanitarian corridor remains open and supported. Furthermore, we exchanged ideas on enhancing public awareness of this incredible mission.
