Samui Airport named as the world’s “Most On-Time Small Airport”
Samui Airport, a privately owned and operated airport by Bangkok Airways Public Company Limited, has been recognised as the world’s most on-time airport in the small airports category in the annual On-Time Performance (OTP) Review released by travel data and analytics expert, Cirium. Samui Airport achieved an on-time departure performance of 95.08% in 2019.
Mr.Puttipong Prasarttong-Osoth, President of Bangkok Airways said: “We are proud and honoured to be named as the world’s most on-time small airport in 2019 by Cirium. Punctuality is considered one of the essential qualities of the airport. This recognition means a great deal of encouragement for the management and all staff at Samui Airport.
