TAL Aviation Nordic will be expanding the cooperation already in place with Qantas, Australia's national carrier, as TAL Aviation's 8th sales office, which cover 11 territories.  The Nordic teams will be providing sales and marketing, amongst other services to support their Danish, Norwegian and Swedish markets.

Travelers will benefit from Qantas' expansion plans such as its recently announced plan to expand travel options between the Americas and Australasia.  With approval of its joint business agreement with American Airlines, Qantas has already announced new services for 2020, between the USA and Australia.  3 weekly flights between San Francisco and Brisbane are set for February, and 4 weekly flights between Chicago and Brisbane in April.

Nissim Sagis, TAL Aviation's Chief Commercial Officer comments "Qantas is a leader in aviation feats as well as being one of the best airlines in the world.  Adding our Nordic team to our partnership to support Qantas is exciting news, especially with the joint business developments that are moving forward between Qantas and our oneworld partner American Airlines".

To support its expansion plans, Qantas' Airbus fleet order has also been increased to include additional long-range XLRs, which are fuel efficient and will improve fleet flexibility and network options.  Its current order now stands at 109 Airbus aircraft for delivery from financial year 2024 onwards.
