TAL Aviation Group is appointed as General Sales Agent for Sun PhuQuoc Airways in Europe
This partnership marks a major step in the airline's push to grow its international footprint.
Under the agreement, TAL Aviation will handle all commercial activities for the carrier in these markets - including sales, marketing, trade development, reservations support, distribution, and building partnerships with travel industry players. The new GSA role takes effect immediately, with trade engagement and sales strategy already underway.
Sun PhuQuoc Airways is a full-service carrier and part of the Sun Group. Based on Phu Quoc Island, it connects Vietnam's major hubs with international markets across Asia and is planning to expand into Europe, and other regions worldwide. The airline plans to grow its fleet to 32 aircraft by the end of 2026, including four wide-body aircraft, further strengthening its capacity to serve an expending international network across Asia.
SPA is also building its long-term wide-body fleet capability. On February 18, 2026, in Washington, D.C., the airline signed a US$22.5 billion agreement to purchase 40 Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner wide-body aircraft. This is the largest Boeing wide-body aircraft order in Vietnamese aviation history to date.
Tran Viet Loi, Director of Commercial, said: "The European market is strategically important for us as we expand our international network. TAL Aviation's deep market knowledge and strong trade connections make them the right partner to support our long-term growth in the region."
Gideon Thaler, Chairman and CEO of TAL Aviation Group, added: "We're excited to represent Sun PhuQuoc Airways across Europe. This partnership reflects our commitment to delivering top-tier representation and distribution. We look forward to using our network and expertise to boost the airline's brand and drive meaningful growth in these key markets."
