TAP flights connecting Lisbon and Santiago de Compostela are now for sale

17 December, 2019

Two daily flights link the cities.

TAP is going to operate two daily return flights from Lisbon to Santiago de Compostela and back as of 5 June. Tickets for these flights are available for sale today.
The flights are to be operated using ATR 72 aircraft that can seat up to 70 passengers and tickets are available from €57 (all taxes included) or 6,000 miles (one way) under the Miles&Go frequent flyer Programme.
The flights depart from Lisbon to Santiago de Compostela at 8:30 a.m. and 2:05 p.m., arriving in the Galician capital at 11:05 a.m. and 4:40 p.m. respectively (local time).
The return flights leave Santiago de Compostela at 11:45 a.m. and 5:20 p.m., arriving at Lisbon airport at 12:10 p.m. and 5:45 p.m. respectively (local time).

Santiago de Compostela is the capital of the autonomous community of Galicia and is famous for the pilgrimages devoted to Jesus Christ’s apostle St. James, whose remains are supposed to be buried at the site where the city’s cathedral stands today.
The pilgrimages and the famous “Way of St. James” date back to the 9th century. UNESCO has classified the city’s historic centre as a World Heritage site.

This TAP connection brings the capitals of Portugal and Galicia closer and also provides the best links between cities in southern Spain and Santiago de Compostela, via Lisbon, as well as offering Galicians the most convenient connections to TAP destinations in North America, Brazil, Africa and other European countries it serves.
