JET AIRWAYS DECLARED ‘BEST AIRLINE IN CENTRAL/SOUTH ASIA AND INDIA’ AT THE PRESTIGIOUS GLOBAL TRAVELLER READER SURVEY AWARDS 2011

Jet Airways, India’s premier international airline, has been adjudged the ‘Best Airline in Central/South Asia and India” at the 8th annual Global Traveller Reader Survey Travel Awards in Beverly Hills, California.

The prestigious US-based Global Traveller magazine conducted its survey over a eight month period between January and August 2011 asking frequent business and luxury travellers to name the best in a variety of travel-related categories and more than 36,000 people responded. The readers are frequent premium travellers averaging 16 international and 16 domestic round trip flights a year.

JET AIRWAYS HONOURED WITH THE 'BEST DOMESTIC AIRLINE’ AWARD BY THE TRAVEL AGENTS ASSOCIATION OF INDIA (TAAI) AT THEIR DIAMOND JUBILEE AWARDS 2011 CELEBRATIONS

Jet Airways was selected based upon a vote of 1400 travel agents who are TAAI members. These TAAI Awards seek to recognize outstanding contributions to the development and promotion of travel and tourism in a responsible and sustainable manner.

In August 2010, Jet Airways Chairman Naresh Goyal was presented with the prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award of the Year by the Travel Agents Association of India (TAAI), by the Honorable Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Shri Chhagan Bhujbal at a glittering ceremony in Mumbai.

TAAI is a professional coordinating body of different segments of the travel and tourism industry, aimed at the development of the travel and tourism industry in India.
