After a 27-year pause, Spain’s leading airline, Air Europa, is reconnecting with Istanbul
From now the airline operates flights between Madrid and Istanbul four times a week, with plans to increase to daily flights this summer — a major boost for tourism and trade between Spain and Turkey.
The event at IGA Istanbul Airport was attended by distinguished guests such as Cristina Latorre Sancho, Spanish Ambassador to Ankara Selahattin Bilgen CEO of Istanbul Airport İGA and V. Mirey Goldag, Country Manager TAL Aviation Turkey, representing Air Europa as GSA in this country.
The festivities included speeches, a ribbon-cutting ceremony, souvenirs and treating to delicious baklava! 🍰✨
