Air Serbia, the national airline of the Republic of Serbia, launched today an exciting new catering service called Elevate Deli & Bar. The new service allows guests to purchase a range of fantastic-value food and drinks onboard flights lasting up to three hours.

Set to replace the current catering service, Elevate Deli & Bar has been designed to provide guests with more choice, and follows recent business developments aimed at empowering Air Serbia’s customers with the ability of personalizing their journey.

Depending on the length of the service and type of aircraft operating the flight, travellers will receive one of two menus.

We’ve teamed up with some of the best-loved brands in Serbia to bring travellers products that they recognise and want to have onboard. With freshly-prepared food using the best Serbian ingredients, as well as many classic Serbian snacks, we are confident it will appeal to our guests.

The introduction of Elevate Deli & Bar goes hand-in-hand with the launch of Air Serbia’s new fare structure, which allows guests to pick one of four fare types when booking a flight.

These include the Economy White and Economy Blue fares, which offer the lowest-possible ticket prices, but do not include a meal. The new inflight catering service is primarily aimed at these fare types.

What’s on the menu?

Depending on the length of service and type of aircraft on the flight, guests will have one of two menus in the seat pockets in front of them.

On short haul flights lasting up to 1 hour, the menu will feature sweet and savoury snacks, sandwiches, hot and cold beverages, and alcoholic drinks.

These will include chocolate bars, biscuits, noodles, peanuts or a can of potato chips. From the bar, guests will be able to order hot drinks, as well as soft drinks and alcoholic beverages.

On medium-haul services, lasting up to 3 hours, the menu will feature all the items available above, as well as more substantial meal options, such as prosciutto and ham and cheese sandwiches, as well as chicken and vegetable wraps. In addition, guests can also choose from two additional confectionary items, a traditional walnut cookie or vanilla cookie.

Both Elevate Deli & Bar menus also include special combination deals, such as a tea or coffee coupled with a pack of biscuits, a can of beer paired with potato chips, or any sandwich and any soft drink.

Notes

• Inflight catering on Air Serbia’s long-haul transatlantic flight between Belgrade and New York remains unchanged, with Economy Class and Business Class guests receiving a complimentary meal.
• Economy Red guests travelling on short and medium-haul services can pick items to eat and drink from assigned selection of Elevate Deli & Bar menu at no charge, as it is included in the airfare.
• Business Silver customers flying on short and medium-haul services will have a choice of specially-packaged cold meals, including a traditional Serbian meze.
